 Former Rep. Mike Rogers, who narrowly lost his U.S. Senate bid in Michigan, is under consideration by President-elect Trump for FBI director.

He recently met with the Trump transition team at Mar-a-Lago.

Rogers is a former FBI special agent in its Chicago office and previously served as chair of the House Intelligence Committee.

Chris Wray currently serves as FBI director. The raid of Mar-a-Lago occurred under Wray.
