President-elect Donald Trump has been making MAGA waves with a steady stream of appointee announcements, but one potential contender just took herself out of the running.
Trump lawyer Alina Habba has been a popular name floating within the MAGA ranks to take the role of the next White House press secretary. Habba burst onto the public’s radar over the past several years as she exhibited fierce and heartfelt defense of her client against E. Jean Carroll’s HIGHLY questionable defamation case.
“No, I’m not having any second thoughts about representing President Trump,” Habba told the press outside an NYC courtroom after Carroll was awarded an absurd $83 million in the kangaroo court. “It is the proudest thing I could ever do.”
Her loyalty seemingly won her Trump’s loyalty in return and many speculated the well-spoken, no-nonsense firebrand would be a shoo-in for the next White House spox.
But, Habba announced on Thursday that she didn’t quite see it that way.
“While I’m flattered by the support and speculation, the role of Press Secretary is not a role I am considering,” Habba stated on X.
“Although I love screaming from a podium I will be better served in other capacities,” she continued. “This administration is going to be epic! So proud of the Trump team, the latest appointments and 47!”

Though you’d do well, I always thought it would be a waste of your skillset. Not to downplay the importance of the role but a talented attorney shouldn’t be disseminating talking points.

You will do great wherever you are! Thank you for all you have done!

The only job I’d be want in the Trump WH would be Press Secretary. That’d be a ton of FUN! But let’s hope Tucker gets the nod!!! He’d be BEYOND belief in that role.
