Far-left MSNBC Host Rachel Maddow had quite a meltdown on Tuesday night while discussing President-elect Donald Trump’s still-developing list of cabinet appointments.

During a segment on “The Rachel Maddow Show,” the host immediately went off the deep end by referring to Trump as “one of the worst presidents in the history of the United States.”

“The first Donald Trump presidential term had so many cabinet officials forced out of office in disgrace and referred to the Justice Department to face criminal charges, it’s actually hard to remember them all,” Maddow hysterically decried.

“And of course, just one of the scandals of the Trump administration is that despite an unprecedented number of cabinet officials being referred to the Justice Department for potential prosecution, the supposedly independent Department of Justice under Donald Trump decided to actually bring criminal charges against precisely none of them — which is yet another of the Trump scandals from his first time, but still,” Maddow added.

“It was a bad presidential term. It is not normal to have a half dozen members of the cabinet referred for potential criminal prosecution for crimes they allegedly committed while they were serving in the cabinet. It’s not normal,” she said.

Continuing to become even more unhinged, Maddow screamed: “I mean, that’s the kind of thing that gets you listed repeatedly as the worst, or among the worst, presidents in U.S. history when presidential historians and scholars are surveyed about these things, right? This is why Trump is considered by experts in the field to be if not the worst, then certainly one of the worst presidents in the history of the United States — I’m sorry, Warren G. Harding. It just wasn’t good!”

President-elect Donald Trump has hit the ground running on filling out his potential future cabinet, announcing names for key positions at a breakneck speed.

Trump announced on Tuesday night that he will nominate Pete Hegseth of Fox News to be the next Secretary of Defense.

Trump has taken a significant step toward reversing key elements of the Biden administration’s climate policies by selecting former New York GOP Representative Lee Zeldin to lead the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as its administrator, according to The New York Post.

Zeldin previously served as a U.S. Representative for New York’s 1st congressional district and gave New York Gov. Kathy Hochul a run for her money in 2022 as the GOP nominee.

With years of political experience, he is known for his conservative positions on various issues, and he has a military background, having served in the United States Army.

Also Monday, Trump selected Florida Republican Rep. Mike Waltz to be his national security adviser as the president-elect continues to build his team ahead of his second term.

Waltz has been one of President-elect Trump’s most prominent surrogates during the 2024 campaign, leading military outreach efforts and assisting with the Veterans For Trump coalition.

The Florida congressman is the first retired Green Beret to serve in Congress and brings prior administration experience, having worked as a policy adviser to former Defense Secretaries Donald Rumsfeld and Robert Gates.

Earlier Monday, the president-elect announced that he had picked Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York, the chamber’s fourth-ranking Republican, to be his UN ambassador.

“I am honored to nominate Chairwoman Elise Stefanik to serve in my Cabinet as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. Elise is an incredibly strong, tough, and smart America First fighter,” Trump said in a statement to the New York Post.

The New York Republican confirmed the appointment to the same outlet.

“I am truly honored to earn President Trump’s nomination to serve in his Cabinet as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations,” Stefanik told the Post. “During my conversation with President Trump, I shared how deeply humbled I am to accept his nomination and that I look forward to earning the support of my colleagues in the United States Senate. President Trump’s historic landslide election has given hope to the American people and is a reminder that brighter days are ahead — both at home and abroad.”

Stefanik is a regular presence on television, where she vigorously supports the GOP stance on various issues, such as Israel and what she calls the “Biden Crime Family.”
