In what amounts to billionaire Mark Cuban wanting to have his cake and eat it too, the Kamala Harris surrogate has offered his congratulations to Donald Trump after his historic comeback win against the empty vessel who was hand-chosen by the Obama Machine™ to be the Democratic nominee.

Cuban, who clashed repeatedly with fellow billionaire and Trump supporter, Elon Musk, congratulated the SpaceX CEO as well.

“Congrats @realDonaldTrump. You won fair and square. Congrats to @elonmusk as well. #Godspeed,” Cuban posted early on Musk-owned X early Wednesday when it became apparent that the American people had made their choice.

Some would suggest that Cuban did his part for Trump’s cause when he stirred the passions of women on the right during an appearance last week on The View.

The Shark Tank judge declared that Trump does not surround himself with “strong, intelligent women,” which resulted in a huge backlash and an ultimate mea culpa from Cuban.

“Donald Trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women. Ever,” Cuban told the liberal harpies on the show. “It’s just that simple. They are intimidating to him. He doesn’t like to be challenged by them, and, you know, Nikki Haley will call him on his nonsense with reproductive rights and how he sees and treats and talks about women. I mean, he just can’t have her around. It wouldn’t work.”

Cuban would try to move the goalpost while offering an explanation for his regrettable remark.

“This is what I said during a conversation about why Nikki Haley was not active in his campaign,” he said on X. “I know many strong, intelligent women voting for Trump, including in my extended family. I’m certainly not saying female voters are not smart, strong and intelligent.”

“I know he has worked with strong, intelligent women, like Elaine Chao, Kelly Anne, Ivanka and many others,” Cuban added. “I stand by my opinion that he does not like being challenged publicly.”

Of course, as more than one social media user noted, Cuban can go one step further and agree to work with Elon Musk on his expected government efficiency commission.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
