We can now report that Donald Trump has won the presidential election in Wisconsin and will receive the Badger State’s 10 electoral votes. Trump was already considered the winner of the 2024 election, having already secured Pennsylvania’s electoral votes to put him at the 270 required to win. The win in Wisconsin secures that lead, which is on its way to a mandate.

Wisconsin was the focus of a great deal of attention from the Republican National Committee in the days leading up to the election. The RNC filed at least one suit against the Milwaukee Elections Commission over concerns over poll watcher access.

This comes fast on the tail of the Republican Party’s projected hold of the United States Senate. The House of Representatives is still undecided.
According to projections from Decision Desk HQ, the Republican party has gained control of the US Senate.
The first flip occurred pretty early in the night, with former West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice, a Republican, winning that seat, which was open after the retirement of Sen. Joe Manchin.
