Reuters posted a story on Wednesday concerning the lawfare still pending against Donald Trump. The article begins with a sketch by a court artist. The image is ugly. Trump has his head up and eyes closed. A “jailer” is a few feet in front of him. Scribbled across the jailer’s back is “The New York State Courts.” A fitting image of what the left tried — and failed — to do.

Reuters had five people working on this story titled:
“Trump’s Impending Return to White House Brings Criminal Cases to a Halt”
Reasonable people know that all of the cases brought against Trump were either motivated by greed and vengeance or motivated by political animus — or a combination of those. The civil fraud $478 million judgment case was appealed. On appeal, the appellate panel wasn’t having any of the nonsense New York’s Attorney General Tish James sold at trial. The panel wasn’t buying James’ smoke and mirrors.
In February, a Manhattan trial judge found that Trump and other defendants — including his adult sons, Don Jr. and Eric, along with several business associates — fraudulently inflated his net worth and the value of his real estate properties to obtain favorable rates from banks and insurers.
But no one was harmed. That simple question was asked.
“I think you hear underneath all these questions, the question of mission creep,” Associate Justice Peter Moulton said. “Has 6312” — the statute in question — “morphed into something that it was not meant to do?”
What was in the Reuters article?
“He was properly charged with crimes within the system we have,” said Kristy Parker, a special counsel at Protect Democracy, an advocacy organization dedicated to countering what it calls authoritarian threats to the U.S. Parker said if Trump does shut down the cases, “that won’t mean it was the right thing.”
No, Kristy, he wasn’t “properly charged.” It was lawfare. It is no wonder Reuters found someone from “Protect Democracy.” It’s a 501(c)(3) leftist advocacy group founded by Obama hacks. Of course she would see those cases as proper. They never were.

I am confident that that case will be reversed. What will happen to the rest of the cases/lawfare pending against Trump? They will all end up on the scrap heap of history, one way or another.
Watching Fox News last night, Trey Gowdy said something that was already rolling through my head. All of the cases will be shut down, including the state court cases, but the federal cases are the walking dead. Those cases are over. Gowdy said that Biden should now do what Ford did and pardon Trump. It would be unpopular with the cultists, but it’s the right thing to do.
Will Biden do that? No. I think he hates Trump and hates the fact that he has only a few months left to take naps at the Resolute desk. But even without a pardon, the federal cases cannot proceed against a president or a president-elect. But what about the New York criminal case now awaiting sentencing?
In New York, Trump’s lawyers are expected to ask Justice Juan Merchan to delay his sentencing currently scheduled for Nov. 26 – in which he could face up to four years in prison. Sentencing a president-elect ahead of Inauguration Day would be unprecedented in U.S. history, and legal experts expect the hearing to be delayed.
That case was an absurd abuse of power and, it seems, backfired on the left. Cultists have called Trump a convicted felon for months and want him to break rocks in a New York prison. Trump won’t be doing that. I am confident that that case will either be dismissed or delayed past Trump’s presidency.

The Georgia case has the potential to move forward against other defendants, but it won’t against Trump. My prediction is that the Georgia case will be dismissed sometime in 2025.
Heads are exploding all over America as you read this. Cultists were convinced that they could get rid of Trump via the 14th Amendment, and if that didn’t work, lawfare. None of those things happened, and the efforts might have galvanized a lot of voters.
Lawfare was used as a bad-faith weapon meant to derail Trump’s third run for president. It poked the bear. I think the left’s lawfare was a massive mistake that came back and bit them on the backside and then ate them alive. In the end, it helped elect Donald Trump.
Congrats, cultists, you might get a “thank you” from Trump. On Presidential stationery.
