While most Americans were voting based on major issues such as the economy, immigration, and global tension, AOC urged voters to turn out because of… the weather.

Yes, seriously.

“It’s 70 degrees in New York in the first week of November. Please vote,” she wrote early Tuesday morning.

Extreme Weather Watch, a website founded in 2021 that makes it easy to search weather records by state, indicates that the warmest year on record is 1950 when it was in the 80s on November 1st and 2nd.
