Vice President Kamala Harris will not publicly address her supporters on Election Night or early Wednesday morning, a spokesperson for her campaign has confirmed.

“Thank you for being here. Thank you for believing in the promise of America,” a spokesperson for her campaign said from her election watch event at Howard University. “We still have votes to count. We still have states that have not been called yet.”

“We will continue over night to fight to make sure that every vote is counted, that every voice has spoken. So, you won’t hear from the vice president tonight. But you will hear from her tomorrow,” the spokesman said.

As of press time, the Associated Press projected former President Donald Trump to take 247 electoral votes to Harris’s 210. Trump led in every swing state, though most remain uncalled as of press time.
