Someone might want to check on Bette Midler because she appears to be having a hard time with this election.

As with most celebrities, Midler suffers from an extreme case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, and she displays her worst symptoms on social media on the regular. But this latest iteration of Trump obsession is manifested in a most bizarre fashion.

In a Monday post, Midler posted a picture of the inside of her refrigerator showing a bottle of wine and a bottle of Drano. On the wine, which I’m surprised did not come in a box, was a Post-It note saying “Kamala Wins.”

The Drano had a Post-It note saying, “Trump Wins,” implying that if the election doesn’t go her way, she will commit suicide by Drano.

The responses from conservatives were quite humorous, with many basically telling Midler not to threaten them with a good time.

The singer has a history of bizarre anti-Trump posts on X.

Of course, Midler is far from the only celebrity type who suffers from TDS. In fact, Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign appears to have brought all of Hollywood to salvage her chances of becoming the next president.

Most recently, actor Harrison Ford, a lifelong Democrat, endorsed Harris while criticizing Trump for being divisive. Say it ain’t so, Han Solo!

Alleged singer Jennifer Lopez recently condemned remarks made by a comedian about Puerto Rico during a Trump rally. Actual singer Rihanna recently referred to the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol building, telling immigrants to “use the damn door” and speak out. Actor Robert DeNiro has also been a vocal Trump critic.

Even “The Avengers” came out in favor of Kamala Harris, which further indicates that Thanos might have had a point.

The vice president has had several pop singers and hip-hop artists support her at her rallies, including Beyoncé, Megan Thee Stallion, and Cardi B.

But, at the end of the day, none of this matters. The vast majority of Americans aren’t looking to folks like Robert Downey Jr. and Cardi B. to get their political opinions. This tactic might work on people who don’t really pay attention to politics.

For those who are dealing with severe economic problems, crime, and other issues, the entertainment industry doesn’t have much bearing. But, Democrats need all the help they can get at this point.
