To no one’s surprise, a recent study found that the media’s coverage of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and Democrat nominee Kamala has been… how should I put this… “somewhat skewed.”

How skewed (emphasis, mine)?
The difference in coverage between the candidates is far greater than in 2016, when both Trump and then-challenger Hillary Clinton received mostly negative coverage (91% negative for Trump, vs. 79% negative for Clinton). It’s even greater than in 2020, when Joe Biden was treated to 66 percent positive coverage, vs. 92 percent negative for Trump.
Since July, ABC, CBS and NBC have treated Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris to 78 percent positive coverage, while these same networks have pummeled former Republican President Donald Trump with 85 percent negative coverage.
Yep, I know. Try to control your shock and amazement.
Anyway, given the above stats, I was more than a bit surprised when I ran across this piece of news.
On Saturday night’s CBS Weekend News, White House reporter Weijia Jiang interviewed four female Trump supporters, asking them if they were offended as women by Trump’s attacks on Kamala Harris, insulting her intelligence, calling her a “sleazebag,” and more. “Not a bit,” they said.
Incidentally, Jiang “forgot” to ask the pro-MAGA women if they were offended by Harris incessantly comparing Trump to Adolf Hitler and his supporters to Nazis.
So we know that the Harris-loving media has pushed the false narrative that Trump will virtually end women’s lives in America as they know them if he regains the White House, with loons like “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski even screeching that it’s a matter of “life or death” for women depending whether Trump or Harris wins.

CBS anchor Jericka Duncan led off the segment with pro-Harris feminist news.
Tonight, thousands of women are gathering in Washington, D.C. and in marches in all 50 states to support Vice President Harris. This movement was launched in 2017, one day after Donald Trump’s inauguration [no video of the knit pussy hats]. But not all women find the former president offensive. Here’s CBS’s Weijia Jiang.
White House reporter Jiang, who interviewed the women, first ran through several clips of Trump blasting Harris, prefacing each of them before they aired.
JIANG: From insulting her intelligence —
TRUMP: She is dumb as a rock, you cannot have that.
JIANG: To straight up name-calling —
TRUMP: That sleazebag said during the debate, she said, oh, your rallies are not well attended and people leave.
JIANG: Former President Trump has not held back personal attacks against Vice President Harris.
[To the pro-Trump women] He has called her lazy, stupid, [and] a sleazebag. Does that bother you as women?
“Not at all,” said one of the women, much to Jiang’s chagrin. The exchange continued:
JIANG: These supporters say their vote is based on his record, not his rhetoric.
ELIZABETH CAIN: For me, it is not personal, it is policy.
ROSALIND HANSON: What he did for the economy, what he did for the black community, what he did, in terms of trying to secure the border.
CAIN: I think it goes back to finances. You know? The grocery bills, the energy cost, gasoline. It just all of that. When people’s paychecks are affected, especially as a mother –
ISABELLE STEVENSON: We’re looking at 2019. Are we better now? And the answer is no, we are not.
