WATCH: Trump Does Not Hold Back in New Remarks on Liz Cheney's Smear

You would have to be living under a rock if you missed the controversy over former Rep. Liz Cheney’s (R-WY) slur against 2024 GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, after he spoke about her war-mongering ways during a Phoenix campaign event Thursday evening. As my colleague Nick Arama noted:

Now they even have a new hoax out that the media is running with, courtesy of Trump hater Liz Cheney. Cheney claimed that Trump was threatening “those who speak against them with death,” posting a clip without full context.

Then on Friday, former Pres. Trump stumped in one of this cycle’s swing states, Michigan. While campaigning in Dearborn, a city ravaged by on-going, radical Islamic sentiment and violence against Jews, a Lebanese restaurant owner honored Trump’s efforts to bring about peace, presenting a plaque to him:

Donald Trump graciously received the plaque, and spoke about bringing peace to the whole world, including the Middle East, once he is reelected:

During that stop, Trump also talked with reporters about Cheney–and he didn’t hold back his thoughts, calling her “a warhawk” and “a disgrace”:

He clarified that already crystal clear remark here, which belabors the problem that Democrats and their media pals seem to craft over and over again. Fake news is their bread and butter, everywhere the legacy media operates.

The former president also explained his words about Liz Cheney in a post on his Truth Social platform:

It read:

All I’m saying about Liz Cheney is that she is a War Hawk, and a dumb one at that, but she wouldn’t have “the guts” to fight herself. It’s easy for her to talk, sitting far from where the death scenes take place, but put a gun in her hand, and let her go fight, and she’ll say, “No thanks!” Her father decimated the Middle East, and other places, and got rich by doing so. He’s caused plenty of DEATH, and probably never even gave it a thought. That’s not what we want running our Country!
