Boxer Jake Paul may not be able to vote in the 2024 election but he is still endorsing one candidate as he revealed in a nearly 20-minute video message.

The 27-year-old acknowledged that he was “nervous” making the video because he would probably get strong backlash for speaking out but shared his reasons for backing former President Donald Trump while encouraging everyone to exercise their right to vote, even though he can’t.

“Because I moved to Puerto Rico in pursuit of becoming a world champion in my boxing career, I have rescinded my right to vote but that doesn’t mean I can’t present my 80 million large audience with proper facts, numbers, and data to encourage them to vote in the proper direction to quite literally save America,” Paul said.

He encouraged his followers to do their own research and not take the word of a celebrity on who to vote for “because you love their song” before going on to list the reasons why he believes Trump is the right choice,

But before laying out his pro-Trump stand, Paul addressed the recent jab at Puerto Rico made by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe at Trump’s New York City rally.

“Obviously he’s doing his job, trying to be funny. But him talking smack about Puerto Rico was not funny. And I want to shine a light on the fact these aren’t Donald Trump views, it was a comedian who made a bad joke,” the YouTuber-turned-boxer said.

“Tony, while I love most of your work, Puerto Rico is the most beautiful place on earth, and the people here are absolutely incredible,” he added.

He went on to tell his fans that “God has sent me here to tell you this message” as he encouraged, “Look at the facts. Think for yourself. Don’t be a sheep in this world full of sheep.”

“I’m putting my business, my career on the line during my peak going into fight Mike Tyson… because I don’t give a f*** what the consequences are,” Paul declared.

“Most of your favorite celebrities, athletes, all of that are secretly conservative because the left has created a world where conservatives like me speaking out have major, major consequences,” he said.

He touched on topics from the border, economy, and even abortion, telling those interested in women’s reproductive rights not to be a “single issue voter.”

“I would also argue that Donald Trump is protecting women by not letting 15 million illegal immigrants through the borders. 662,566 have criminal histories, 13,000 convicted of homicide, and so on. Having those unidentified roaming the streets, I believe arguably is a bigger potential threat to the women of America. Even the Border Patrol Council, the people who are in charge of the border endorsed Donald Trump,” Paul said.

He pointed out that Trump is not in it for the money and can make the right decisions because he is not influenced by that factor.

”And me personally, I don’t really like politicians, it’s, ‘Oh look at me, I’m nice, I’m this, I’m perfect, this is what I’m going to do’”, he added. “I like the fact that Donald Trump is a businessman, who has billions of dollars and won’t be influenced by some deal or treaty that’s going to make himself personally rich.”
