As Kamala Harris’ closing argument got stomped on last night, Trump’s closing argument is getting stronger and clearer by the day.

Trump is being outspent by an unimaginable amount of money, but all the Democrat money is being wasted–except, perhaps, in on-the-ground organizing and…ahem..alternative ways of getting the ballots into the ballot boxes.

The Trump campaign has put together a good series of ads and videos, but he is not alone. His surrogates are putting out exceptional videos themselves, highlighting Trump’s strength and his promise to America.

Tulsi Gabbard’s video is particularly strong, although in that she is hardly alone.

It is upbeat, patriotic, makes clear what the choice is in this election, and has particular punch because she is a popular former Democrat fully embracing the man Democrats call “Hitler” reborn.

Nobody believes that Tulsi would endorse Hitler, and there is a subtle reminder that the Biden administration labeled her a potential domestic terrorist after she supported Trump.

Similarly, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s pitch is a clarion call to all patriots who, looking backward, see an America filled with purpose and looking forward want that same sense of purpose reborn. Americans feel betrayed–rightly–by our elites and are hungering for a future filled with hope and optimism, not one driven by an elite filled with hatred for the common man.

Other Trump surrogates are similarly focused on a future run not by technocrats for the transnational elite, but by innovators and patriots who literally want to Make America Great Again. It is said that we all recognize that the implication of that slogan is that America is not so great now, but we all know it is true. No country can be great when its elite sees the populace as “garbage” in need of being taken out, and no country can be great when it is importing uneducated, unvetted, and often criminal aliens without the most modest background checks.

Trump’s closing message is one of contrast: we are at a fork in the road, with one path leading to decline and desperation and another leading to hope and prosperity. It is a powerful message because it resonates with people in a way that Kamala Harris’ message cannot. Kamala’s problem is that nobody has a clue about who she really is because she has changed every single position she has ever held. Last night she talked about deporting illegal aliens.

Really? Come ON. That is a punch line to a joke.

Trump leans heavily into patriotism and what America can mean to everybody. Cynics will and have claimed that he is really in it for himself, but Trump voters and potential Trump voters don’t see it that way at all. Swing voters question his temperament and whether he is “presidential” enough, but few people really believe he has gone through so much because he is in it for himself.

For God’s sake, he was shot and popped back up and led the crowd in a cheer of “FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT.” That was, as Mark Zuckerberg said, badass.

The attacks on Trump ring false to people because they ARE false. Everything thrown at him is a hoax. Notice how the “Nazi” attack has slipped off him like water off a duck’s back? It’s because it’s obvious Trump and his followers aren’t Nazis.

Kamala keeps going down this road because, well, she has nothing else. And “Trump is a Nazi” is unpersuasive. Trump may be crude, blunt, even offensive, but he is not a Nazi or Nazi-adjacent. He was president. We know him. He is not a hater, a warmonger, a censor, or an opponent of the Constitution. Those terms apply to the Democrats.

I don’t know who will get the majority of the ballots cast, legally or not, but I do know and have been saying that Kamala Harris’ campaign is dead and buried. If she wins, it will be because of pure machine politics. She is an empty vessel, running on being an empty vessel who can be used by the “experts” and technocrats who really run the show.

That is not exactly a compelling message.

On the one hand, Trump promises a brighter future, partnering with Americans who are dedicated to reigniting our economy, Making America Healthy Again, preserving freedom, and reining in government.

On the other hand you have “experts” who have been ruining the country and enriching themselves.

I know which one is a more compelling message.
