Kamala Harris gave a ‘meh’ speech in a vain attempt to save her campaign, and Joe Biden stepped on it either out of spite or because he is, well, senile.

It can’t be the latter because Kamala Harris and the establishment assure us that he is up to the job of running the free world–he does remain the President of the United States, after all–and Biden made clear tonight that he and his administration  consider you and me human garbage.

As much as Kamala Harris tries to suggest otherwise, this has been the theme of the Democratic Party’s campaign for years now. In 2016, you were deplorable; in 2018, you were a Russian stooge; in 2020, you were a vector of viral infection; in 2022, you were an anti-American insurrectionist; and in 2024, you are human garbage.

Get the message yet? You are not welcome here in the United States. Tren de Aragua needs room to expand.

Kamala Harris began her speech with a broadside against Trump and MAGA, but tried to suggest that she is the person to heal the partisan divide in the country.

As she tried to do that, her mentor, Joe Biden, laid bare what we all know the Democrats really think: we are ready to be thrown in the dump.

Before you think I am taking Biden out of context–and I have to admit that people do that all day every day no matter the political party–this is not a new theme for Democrats. There are gaffes–saying something inartfully and taking a hit for it–and Kinsley gaffes–saying what you really mean and getting in trouble for it.

This was a Kinsley gaffe. Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and the entire transnational elite DO really think you are garbage and the less-than-fluent Joe Biden just said what we already know they think.

Generally speaking, I am in the camp of people who charitably interpret the words of people who speak so much that their words are easy to take out of context. If Biden and the Democrats hadn’t spent a decade insulting Americans who disagree with them I would be inclined to give him grace.

But come on. He said what he meant and what many Democrats think, Just as Hillary did.

Josh Shapiro, who would have been an excellent choice for a presidential candidate, immediately saw the problem with Joe’s expostulation. He is in a purple state and understands that insulting voters is hardly a smart political move. He immediately distanced himself from Biden, and smartly so. He wants to remain viable as a future candidate. Biden is done, and Harris along with him God willing.

The media will go on full cleanup mode because, well, Democrats. A speaker at a Trump rally in the early afternoon cracking a joke in poor taste got round-the-clock coverage for two days, but by tomorrow afternoon, the Pravda media will have this all cleaned up.

Except, maybe not. They will clean it up, debunk it, explain it away, and memory-hole it. But some things are stubborn and stick around because they resonate.

Kamala’s speech was not memorable because it didn’t ring true. Biden’s off-the-cuff expostulation may stick around despite the media whitewash because it was a perfect encapsulation of a reality we all get in our guts: they hate us. They really, really hate us.

You know that. I know that. The media knows that. It is a reality as fundamental as gravity, and you can’t ignore gravity.
