Democrats melted down after comedian Tony Hinchcliffe (known for being an insult comic) refused to apologize for a harmless joke he made about Puerto Rico during Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden.

“There’s a lot going on. Like, I don’t know if you know this, but there’s literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now. I think it’s called Puerto Rico,” Hinchcliffe said.

However, Hinchcliffe is no stranger to poking fun at people, races, and places. During his debut at the Kill Tony Netflix segment, Hinchcliffe roasted former American football quarterback Tom Brady by calling him a “Confederate fag” – among countless other insults.

The comedian also compared Brady to Kyle Rittenhouse, a teenager Democrats accused of being a White Supremacist after he justifiably defended himself during the George Floyd riots.

Hinchcliffe also poked fun at Jews for having “a hard time throwing that paper” in response to Palestinians throwing rocks at Israeli civilians and military. He also roasted Kevin Hart over his height and “cotton-picking heritage.”

However, Democrats have largely overlooked Hinchcliffe’s statements until he appeared at a Trump Rally.

Puerto Ricans defend Hinchcliffe after the “floating garbage” joke

Puerto Ricans for Trump defended Hinchcliffe by saying that the joke did not offend them. They also reiterated the need to protect the Freedom of Speech and artistic creativity.

“We like jokes… And we understand the importance of a comedian having the freedom to push the envelope because that’s always been what has separated them from everyday folks,” a Puerto Rican responded.

Other Puerto Ricans for Trump responded with “No we don’t” when asked if they “give a f**k about” the statement.

Democrats demonize Trump over Hinchcliffe’s joke.

Democrats capitalized on the joke to trash Trump supporters, despite the campaign distancing itself from Hinchcliffe’s remarks.

“This joke does not reflect the views of President Trump or the campaign,” said the Trump Campaign’s senior advisor Danielle Alvarez.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) accused Trump supporters of perceiving Puerto Ricans as garbage because they have “less money.”

“When you have some a-hole calling Puerto Rico ‘floating garbage,’ know that that’s what they think about you. It’s what they think about anyone who makes less money than them…” She said.

“I want every Puerto Rican in Philadelphia and Reading and across the country to see this clip.”

Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz also responded to the joke by describing Hinchcliffe as a “jackwad.”

Nonetheless, Hinchcliffe has refused to apologize and described AOC and Waltz as having “no sense of humor.”

The comedian also lambasted Waltz for taking “time out of his ‘busy schedule’ to analyze a joke taken out of context to make it seem racist.”

“I’m a comedian Tim,” he continued, “might be time to change your tampon.”

Meanwhile, Democratic rallies are also not devoid of controversial jokes. During a campaign rally for Vice President Kamala Harris, liberal comedian George Lopez joked about Mexicans being thieves.

Discussing Trump’s attempt to build a wall between the United States and Mexico to curb illegal immigration, Lopez said, “You better build it in one day, because if you leave that material out there overnight…”

While Harris’ team has yet to distance itself from the distasteful remarks, Trump supporters have not attributed the joke to Harris.
