Michelle Obama MSNBC The Weekend 10-27-24Q. How do you know that Kamala Harris’ campaign is in desperation mode?

A. When a major part of its closing strategy is to attack the voters— including a key component of its base—and a top surrogate describes herself as “frustrated” and “angry” with the electorate!

That desperation was on vivid display on Sunday’s edition of MSNBC’s The Weekend. Much attention was paid to Michelle Obama’s remarks at a Michigan rally yesterday.

In one clip, Obama described herself as “frustrated” and “angry” at voters who let Trump’s shortcomings slide, but demand that Kamala “dazzle us at every turn,” and who “pick apart Kamala’s answers from interviews.”

Don’t blame the voters, Michelle. It was your husband’s chief campaign strategist, David Axelrod, who described Kamala as often resorting to “word salad city!”

But Steele gushed over Michelle for “a very important framing — a framing to be quite honest, even her husband couldn’t get right…trying to woo those voters that really are still on the fence.”

Co-host Michael Steele addressed himself to:

“The young brothers in Detroit and Atlanta, and Philly, Baltimore, across the country. The young men who in this discussion around abortion seemingly have been detached from it by the right. You know, they got this bro culture, you know. It’s about the MAN. You know, the woman, we just need you to be quiet and pregnant.”

Talk about attacking your base! And Steele hilariously blamed “the right” for the supposed attitude of the “young brothers.” Is this how you keep the “brothers” in the Kamala camp?

No doubt! Because as everyone knows, young black men spend much more time watching Fox News than listening to female-trashing hip hop, like from Eminem, who endorsed Kamala?
