Surveys measuring “election anxiety” found Monica Lewinsky offering an eyebrow-raising piece of advice while Hulk Hogan served up his own provocative White House reference.

After months of ramped-up rhetoric with corporate media and the left presenting former President Donald Trump as an existential “threat to democracy,” a “fascist,” and akin to Adolf Hitler, all while taking no responsibility for the attempts on the GOP leader’s life, it proved hardly surprising that voter concern would reach levels of mental health issues.

Contributing to Vanity Fair, the infamous intern from former President Bill Clinton’s administration dropped a listicle of 25 ways to “Calm the F–k Down” before Election Day with a penultimate suggestion, “AND IF ALL ELSE FAILS, THERE IS ALWAYS SEX!”

“I don’t know about you, but to me, the Democratic convention–which took place two months ago–seems like it happened in a far-away, feel-good time warp. Ever since, the 2024 election cycle has been brutal,” wrote Lewinsky. “And barely a day goes by without some alarming MAGA-world flare-up (Donald Trump calling January 6 a ‘day of love’; threats of vigilantes going after FEMA workers) causing me to chew what’s left of my cuticles.”

Signaling the “woman’s bodily autonomy” was her “defining issue” for the election, other suggestions included exploring support from like-minded leftists, cajoling swing state voters with postcards, door-knocking, dancing, reading and coloring books.

Lewinsky’s advice to Democrats, increasingly coping with Trump’s surging momentum, came as multiple surveys marked the negative impact the election was having on the public.

According to one poll of 2,000 people from the California-based AMFM (A Mission For Michael), nearly 22% of Americans were experiencing a negative effect while roughly 29% noted a positive impact and about 50% remained neutral.

“For those who reported a negative impact on their mental well-being, several key stressors were identified. Navigating misinformation (57.64%) and the prevalence of ‘doom and gloom’ messaging (56.14%) were the top contributors to anxiety,” read the findings. “Additionally, 54.64% of respondents expressed concern about the aftermath of the election, while 42.11% worried that their preferred candidate might not win. The volume of election coverage was overwhelming for 38.6% of respondents, exacerbating feelings of stress.”

Speaking with Fox News Digital, LifeStance Health executive director MK Clarkin noted that younger people were more susceptible to the fearmongering, “People often report increased anxiety depression, trouble focusing and more.”

“Feeling a deep sense of losing control over personal lives understandably creates a sense of distress for many people,” added the clinical social worker as a survey from her organization suggested 79% of people had some level of election anxiety, including a majority of millennials and Gen Z at 54% and 64% respectively.

AMFM Executive Director Christina Kayanan recommended grounding techniques, a self-care routine, challenging unhelpful thoughts, limiting alcohol and caffeine intake, setting healthy boundaries, and progressive muscle relaxation, a technique where one tenses and then slowly relaxes muscles throughout the body.

Meanwhile, during his speech in support of Trump at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, Hogan was believed to have made a nod to oral sex as he slammed Vice President Kamala Harris, frequently a target for her past relationships and career of falling upward.

“He sounds like he has a heart of gold that is all for the USA,” the retired wrestler said of Trump before injecting some spitting sound effects into his remarks on Harris. “But when I hear Kamala speak… it sounds like a script from Hollywood with a really, really bad actress!”

The display reminded many of the viral video that resulted in Hailey Welch having her own podcast after becoming known as the “Hawk Tuah Girl.”

Worth noting, as Lewinsky promoted sex for Democrats struggling ahead of Election Day while social media users reacted, Clinton himself went on record in a documentary admitting that his extramarital sexual behavior was something he said he did to “manage my anxieties.”
