The Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin was roasted online as a hypocrite after posting a photo of herself sporting a pro-Kamala Harris shirt with a racial message.

The leftwing newspaper’s opinion columnist has come under fire for encouraging so-called journalists to resign after the Los Angeles Times decided not to endorse a candidate in the presidential race. When WaPo soon followed with its own non-endorsement, Rubin remained silent.

But she did take to social media to virtue-signal with a t-shirt, securing herself a resounding flogging on X where her hypocrisy and elitism were called out for all to see.

On her X account, Rubin refers to herself as a “NeverTrump, pro-democracy opinion writer” and she celebrated decisions by others in the business for standing on their principles.

When journalist Sewell Chan announced his resignation, Rubin declared, “Bravo. All respect,” with another post reading, “And where are the rest of them?”

But there was no similar stand by Rubin who was jabbed on X.

Rubin did, however, thank those who had “reached out” after canceling their subscriptions.

“To the dozens and dozens of readers who have reached out over the last 24 hours I am very sad to see you go but am touched more than I can say by your words and your loyalty,” she wrote.

But when the 62-year-old donned her pro-Kamala Harris t-shirt she set herself up for a brutal backlash.

“Rosa sat so Ruby could walk so Kamala could run,” Rubin’s shirt declared, sporting images of civil rights icons Rosa Parks and Ruby Bridges as well as Vice President Kamala Harris whose parents are Jamaican and Indian.

Rubin’s post continued to rake in comments with nearly 600,000 views.
