Fox News’ Jesse Watters read the writing on the wall for the vice president as Democrats were left “coming to grips” with a key detail about their supplanted nominee.

Momentum isn’t the only thing playing in former President Donald Trump’s favor as Election Day nears within a week and a half out. As the GOP leader’s third bid for the White House found him polling his best compared to previous contests, the host of “Jesse Watters Primetime” suggested there was only one direction for Vice President Kamala Harris to go after reaching her “full potential.”

During his Friday monologue, Watters pointed to recent comments from members of the Democratic Party that had him suggesting, “Eleven days away from Election Day and Democrats feel like they need a therapist.”

“At this point, Democrats are throwing their hands up in the air and saying ‘she is who she is.’ They’re coming to grips with the fact that Kamala has reached her full potential. This version of Kamala is as good as it’s ever gonna get,” he expressed. “After the CNN town hall, reality slapped Democrats in the face.”

Watters had included a clip of longtime Democratic political strategist James Carville talking depression about the outlook to which the host said, “If you’re a Democrat and you’re suffering from election anxiety, James Carville is offering his services. Hopefully not in that way, but he did say anything.”

He further turned to an Axios report which suggested “Dems fear they’re blowing it,” and included the point, “In a troubling sign for the campaign, top Democrats are already starting to point fingers at who’d be more responsible for a Harris loss — President Biden for dragging his feet, or Harris herself.”

Looking at the polling, the host pointed out, “For the first time ever, Trump is tied going into Election Day. He always goes in down. Let that sink in. It’s the tightest race in a half-a-century and behind the scenes, Democrats are worried she can’t stretch herself across the finish line.”

“‘[L]ittle she does, says — or tries — seems to move the needle,” said Watters, quoting the Axios report. “They’ve been waiting for her to fully reveal herself to voters, but she hasn’t. She’s been a tease.”

“The ‘get to know her’ phase — that’s over. They’ve realized the country’s not interested,” added the primetime personality as he pointed to award-winning actor and director Mel Gibson’s recent remarks about “what it will be like if we let her in.”

“That ain’t good. Miserable track record, appalling track record, no policies to speak of,” he said before adding, “And she’s got the IQ of a fence post.”

Even former President Bill Clinton, acting as a campaign surrogate, had to admit that “what they think of her largely depends on what they think of President Biden. But she is extremely vulnerable — more vulnerable than she deserves to be.”

Harris is expected to make a closing argument for her campaign Tuesday, with a week left before Election Day, using the Ellipse near the White House as a backdrop in a last-ditch effort to demonize Trump over the U.S. Capitol breach on Jan. 6, 2021.
