A temporary statue reportedly named The Resolute Desk is smelling up Capitol Hill ahead of the November election.

The bronze memorial comes complete with a structure that resembles the poop emoji sitting atop a desk that purportedly represents former Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s desk. Located west of the Capitol, the offering represents “an apparent dig at former President Donald Trump and the rioters who stormed the seat of Congress on Jan. 6, 2021,” according to the New York Post.

“This memorial honors the brave men and women who broke into the United States Capitol on January 6th, 2021 to loot, urinate, and defecate throughout those hallowed halls in order to overturn an election,” a sarcastic plaque on the base of the statue reads.

A photo of a Jan. 6 protestor sitting with his foot atop Pelosi’s desk went viral that fateful day, and the memorial was clearly inspired by that moment.

A public gathering permit from the National Park Service says Julia Jimenez-Pyzik of Civic Crafted LLC applied to place it there from Oct. 25 through Oct. 31, according to NBC News.

“This desk represents the heart of democracy, where decisions are made, voices are heard, and the future is shaped,” the document states. “More than just a place for work, it is a testament to the ideals of transparency, accountability, and representation.”

“When rioters broke in to destroy these ideals,” the permit continues, “this desk stands firm, so too must the principles of equality, justice, and freedom that it represents.”
