Mark Halperin commissioned his own poll of Pennsylvania with what I believe is the largest sample size you will find in a public poll and devoted two hours to Pennsylvania on his 2WAY platform yesterday. He called this episode of his 2WAY election coverage “It’s All About Pennsylvania.”
For this episode he interviewed Republican Senate candidate Dave McCormick at about 7:30 of the video below. McCormick is a great American (McCormick’s Army service is recounted here on his site) who faces a challenge running against incumbent Democrat nullity Bob Casey. Casey is a Democrat who now advertises his alleged commonalities with Donald Trump — you know, according to Kamala Harris, the Führer who stands atop the Republican ticket.
McCormick is followed by former Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto and former Senator Rick Santorum. They briefly discuss both the Pennsylvania Senate and presidential election races.
Halperin teases the Pennsylvania poll with pollster David Burrell of Wick Insights and then interviews some undecided voters he recruited for the show. If you want to skip the discussion with undecided voters you can pick up when Halperin resumes with Burrell to report the poll results at about 1:07:00 of the video. Salena Zito pops up at about 1:38:00. RealClearPennsylvania’s Charles McElwee appears at about 1:50:00. Not all of this two-hour episode is of interest, but there is a lot of interesting material that may help us understand the results of the election in retrospect and give us something to chew over in the meantime.
