Shoppers at a Chicago convenience store delivered eye-opening responses to who they would be voting for in the presidential election.

With less than two weeks to go before the pivotal 2024 election, Americans in the heartland stunned a convenience store worker with their passionate responses when asked whether they would be voting for the Democrat nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris.

With Harris and Trump courting the black and Latino vote in the waning weeks of the election cycle, Democrats have been confident the voting blocs will still come out in favor of their candidate. But, in a video posted by Harris supporter and YouTuber Khalid Attaf, things may not be so rosy.

“Trump be looking out for the black community!” one shopper stated when asked why he was voting for the former president.

Another brought up the immigration issue, saying that Venezuelans are “taking all our bread.”

He also praised Trump for his response to the attempt on his life at a Pennsylvania rally in July, saying, “Don’t try to take my boy out. Make America Great Again!”

“We used to get paid and s***,” one customer said. “Like, he used to keep immigrants out. So we were able to get jobs. It’s hard to get jobs for us, now.”

He was emphatic, declaring that if “we was the last two people on earth, still wouldn’t do that sh-t… It’s Trump. It’s locked in.”

One person said although he wasn’t voting, Harris “ain’t no good,” adding that she would “start World War 3 once she gets in.”

The responses from many of the customers seem to echo sentiments being shared by others thought to be dependable Democrat voters. In a report by MSNBC’s Alex Wagner, members of the Black Republicans Club of Philadelphia spelled out why they were not sold on a Harris residency.

“We all know she’s not black. Let’s understand that. We’re all clear on that. From my point of view, she’s already been there. She’s in office right now,” one woman said.

“They are taking jobs that belong to the citizens of this country,” a woman named Sheila Armstrong said, speaking of the influx of illegal migrants. “It is just the fact that Trump is saying it out loud. That is why the fact that we rally around, behind Trump, because at the end of the day, this is the stuff we have been shouting out as a community.”

“She’s a woman of color. I’m not putting her down because of that, and I’m not putting her down because she’s a woman. I’m not a feminist, I’m sorry. But at the end of the day, I don’t think she has the personality,” a woman named Crystal told Wagner. “I don’t think that she has what it takes to go up against Putin and to go up against these other presidents that are built for this… I don’t want to be scared because my president is scared. I want my president to feel secure and manly and about it.”
