Vice President Kamala Harris was afforded the opportunity to attend a town hall hosted by CNN and she brought her own side dish: Word salad.

When Anderson Cooper asked Harris why she hasn’t done any of the things she’s been promising to do on the campaign trail, despite being the vice president for the last 3.5 years, the response he got was befuddling and unclear.

Watch:

“Well there was a lot that was done, but there’s more to do Anderson. And I’m pointing out things that need to be done that haven’t been done but need to be done,” she said, her answer fit to be served with a healthy amount of ranch dressing.

Not only did this response not answer the question in a satisfactory way, but it also prompted veteran Democrat strategist David Axelrod to admit the vice president went “word salad city” during several of her statements. This is less than ideal when the party is less than two weeks away from Election Day.
