TOP O’ THE MORNIN’

Tucker Carlson Slams It Out of the Park With Epic Rant Against Kamala, ‘Creepy’ Liz Cheney

“You can look them [leftists] straight in the face and say, ‘I’m sorry, Dad’s home—and he’s pissed!'” Exactly. Americans are pissed, and it’s time to let the country know and kick the bums out of office.

The Funniest Parts of CNN’s Reaction to Kamala’s Disastrous Town Hall

But perhaps the funniest part had to be how commentator David Urban broke it down and the deflated looks on the people around him, in particular Democratic operative David Axelrod.

NEW: Doug Emhoff Domestic Abuse Scandal Blows Up, Ex-Girlfriend Goes on Record With Allegation

There is no doubt that such a story involving a Republican would be front-page news. Will the press finally cover this now that the woman who was allegedly abused has gone on the record?

WHAT’S ON TAP?

Today on Capitol Hill…

Not a lot. They’re largely focused on November 5. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), though, appears focused on denigrating the non-establishment wing of the party before he hands over the reins to someone less…Mitchy.

Meanwhile, Senate and House Republicans hoping to capitalize on a Trump second presidency (rather than just carping about his ickiness) are laying out an agenda.

White House What’s Up

The only thing on President Joe Biden’s schedule for Thursday, aside from receiving his Daily Brief, is traveling to Phoenix, Arizona.

The Homestretch

Fresh off her CNN Town Hall with Anderson Cooper (which wasn’t all that hot), Vice President Kamala Harris will deliver remarks in Clarkston, Georgia, Thursday evening, where she’ll be joined by former President Barack Obama. After that, she heads to Houston, Texas. Second (not a) Gentleman Doug Emhoff campaigns for her in Wisconsin today. Her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, will be at events in Greenville and Wilmington, North Carolina, Thursday afternoon.

Former President Donald Trump will hold a rally in Tempe, Arizona, Thursday afternoon, followed by an appearance at a Turning Point Action rally in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the evening. His running mate, Ohio Senator JD Vance, will deliver remarks in Waterford, Michigan, in the evening.

Full Court Press…

I know I keep saying this, but the decision in Trump’s New York civil fraud case should be coming down from the intermediate appellate court…any day now. Maybe even today! (We’ll know shortly.)

MORNING MUSING

Running late with today’s Morning Minute, as I’ve been trying (and only marginally succeeding) to catch up on X/Twitter. I went on a bit of a rant last night following her town hall appearance on CNN with Anderson Cooper about Harris’ seeming lack of the skillset one would expect a “tough prosecutor” to possess, and it rather went viral. Here it is, for those who’d like to peruse, but the TL;DR version of it is that Harris does not have the chops of a prosecutor and is a phony fraud.
