U.S. — Editorial sources at the Discovery Channel recently confirmed that Mike Rowe was out of a job again, as a new season of the series Dirty Jobs will be hosted by none other than former President Donald Trump.

The announcement follows Trump’s hit performance as a french fry chef in a Pennsylvania McDonald’s, which inspired producers to make a whole new reboot of Dirty Jobs.

“I saw him cooking and I thought, ‘Steve, this is gonna win an Emmy,'” said Steve Langson, who oversaw the production of the first two seasons of Dirty Jobs. “Can you imagine the number of people who’d want to see Trump doing an amazing job at ordinary, everyday jobs? It would be incredible!”

While the show’s details are not yet settled, the series’ writers had already begun brainstorming for jobs that Trump could do, including industrial cleaning, bar-tending, serving coffees at Caribou, and — most dirty of all — serving as 47th President of the United States.

Initial responses from focus groups have proven incredibly positive, with over 97% of attendees reporting that they would “give an eyetooth or something of equivalent value” for a chance to watch the show.

At publishing time, the show had been canceled after Trump accepted an offer to stay on full-time at McDonald’s.
