A Florida sheriff detailed the results of an undercover human trafficking operation that revealed some eye-opening benefits illegal migrants are afforded by the Biden-Harris administration as they cross the border.

During a press conference last week, Sheriff Grady Judd of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office shared details of “Operation Autumn Sweep,” a five-day operation concentrated on human trafficking that led to 157 arrests. Among those arrested were 25 illegal immigrants and charges included “illegal acts related to soliciting prostitutes, offering to commit prostitution, or aiding and abetting prostitutes,” a press release read, adding that “Three other suspects were arrested for traveling to sexually batter juveniles.”

“Detectives charged a total of 35 felonies and 201 misdemeanors during the investigation. The suspects’ criminal histories included a combined total of 327 felonies and 455 misdemeanors, with charges such as premeditated murder (two suspects – nolle prosequi), attempted murder, vehicular homicide, attempted murder, kidnapping, robbery, aggravated battery, and sexual assault,” the press release noted.

During his remarks at the press conference, Judd detailed the story of one suspect from Venezuela who “made a conscious decision to come to this country to commit crime,” and he blasted the Biden-Harris administration for “aiding and abetting” human trafficking in the country.

“She walked across from Juarez, Mexico into El Paso Texas with her one-year-old child where she was greeted by the Border Patrol,” Judd said.

“Did you hear what I said? She was greeted by the Border Patrol. There was no sneaking,” he noted.  “She simply walked across the open border. There is no border security at the southern border zero. It doesn’t exist.”

The sheriff went on to note that this woman was processed, given a DNA test, and released to a housing facility for immigrants.

“She said once that occurred, they set me down and they told me all about the benefits that I would get in the United States. She said I was eligible and I had to fill out these forms so that I could get those benefits,” Judd recounted, noting that she filled out forms to receive SNAP benefits, which is funding for groceries.

“She said I was given free travel from the border to Chicago. When I got to Chicago, I couldn’t find gainful employment there. So I thought, what the heck, I’ll go to Florida and then I got to fly to Florida,” Judd continued.

“She was giving free housing all because the United States paid for that. That’s right. You, the taxpayers got to pay for that. So this was all simply walking across the border. She said it was unbelievable to me,” the sheriff said.

“This was not a stealth act. And then they gave her free travel, free housing, free food, free medical care. All while people from the hurricane are still waiting for help,” Judd noted, referring to Hurricanes Helene and Milton that devastated parts of the Sunshine State.

He then played a video clip of the woman who asked for her real name not to be used.

The woman recounted how, after processing, she and other illegal migrants were told that the documents they were provided “were our personal identification in the United States.”

“And we could use the documents to travel on buses and airplanes. They also explained to us that we could use those documents to…apply for our documents to become legal here. And after that, they explained all of the, after they explained all of the benefits, they said welcome to the United States of North America,” the woman explained, saying they were taken to a refugee camp and welcomed into the U.S.

“This is someone who just crossed the border illegally to the US to commit crime,” Judd said at the press conference. “And they were not only welcomed to the United States but then they were given all kinds of benefits at the cost of the taxpayer.”
