Bruce Springsteen’s latest complaint about former President Donald Trump left him landing friendly fire on who was really “mentally ill.”

While shilling for the House of Mouse ahead of the release of a new documentary about his E Street Band, “The Boss” once again sounded off on his support for Vice President Kamala Harris. Like most Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferers, the backing came in the belittling of the GOP leader, including a slight against the president “standing and swaying” at a recent town hall.

“I mean, swaying to music, that’s my job.”

The remark came during an interview with The Telegraph alongside manager Jon Landau and “Road Diary” director Thom Zimny when Springsteen was asked how anxious he was about Trump’s potential return to the White House.

“On one hand, I’m not that anxious, because I do believe Kamala Harris is going to win,” he said. “Of course, I’ve been wrong before about this. I think in the States, there’s an enormous anxiety, however, at losing the things that are dearest to us, the danger of losing democracy, rule of law, peaceful transfer of power.

“And this is a guy who is committed to none of these things,” the entertainer argued, resorting to Jan. 6 rhetoric. “He’s an insurrectionist. You know, he led a coup on the United States government, so there’s no way he should be let anywhere near the office of the presidency.”

“Not to mention, he’s mentally ill,” added Springsteen as he brought up the president’s impromptu music appreciation at a town hall Monday before essentially taking a dig at himself. “The whole thing of standing and swaying for 40 minutes at your town hall? I mean, swaying to music, that’s my job.”

Despite Harris’ campaign endeavoring to push a narrative about Trump’s cognitive ability, even corporate media was unwilling to carry that water as multiple outlets, including ABC News, had debunked the notion that the onetime commander-in-chief had some kind of senior moment while fielding questions from voters in Oaks, Pennsylvania.

As had been reported, as the event space grew overheated with the large crowd packed in and the doors closed for security reasons, two medical emergencies left the president seeking a way to reinvigorate the crowd. The decision was made to have songs played for the supporters which led to even more songs as the rally enthusiastically responded.

Notably, when Springsteen had come out to endorse Harris, he had claimed, “Now, everybody sees things different and I respect your choice as a fellow citizen.”

However, in speaking with The Telegraph, the musician appeared to have abandoned the acceptance that tens of millions of voters would be casting their ballots for Trump, many for the third time in a general election, knowing that no new wars began during his administration.

“Are you going to sleep well knowing that the nuclear codes have been given to Donald Trump?” asked Springsteen rhetorically. “No. No one is.”

In addition to supporters of the president setting the record straight about the town hall, others called out the desperate slams against Trump as a means to keep Harris’ campaign afloat.
