Democrats and their minions have to take their small wins where they can get them, and some are getting solace that Fox News anchor Bret Baier acknowledged using an incorrect clip during his sit-down with Kamala Harris.

During the Wednesday interview with the evasive and hostile Democrat nominee, Baier at one point rolled a video of former President Donald J. Trump that wasn’t consistent with Harris’ alarmist claims that he intends to deploy the military against “radical left lunatics” if elected, the latest variation of her party’s “Trump is Hitler” hoax.

“Harold, I did make a mistake,” Baier told Harris Faulkner and Harold Ford Jr. after the interview aired. “And I did want to say that I did make a mistake. When I called for a soundbite, I was expecting a piece of the ‘enemy from within’ from Maria Bartiromo’s interview to be tied to the piece from your town hall, Harris, where you asked the former president about ‘the enemy from within.’ It just had the piece about the town hall. Just take a listen to what I meant to roll.”

“Bret, I’m sorry, and with all due respect, that clip was not what he has been saying about the enemy within that he has repeated when he’s speaking about the American people,” Harris protested when the wrong clip was shown. “That’s not what you just showed.”

In the corrected except of Trump’s talk with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures,” the former president used the phrase “the enemy within” to describe the dangerous fifth column of anti-American usurpers and insurrectionists who aren’t going to take a potential Harris loss well.

“I think the bigger problem is the enemy from within,” he said. “Not even the people that have come in and [are] destroying our country. We have some sick people, radical left lunatics. And I think they are– and it should be very easily handled by, if necessary, by National Guard, or if really necessary, by the military.”

Baier also showed the clip of Trump during his town hall event hosted by Faulkner.

“My point was that we asked him about the question about that sentence and what he was trying to mean,” he said.

While it was pretty obvious that Trump was referring to quelling violence by left-wing troublemakers and anarchists if they lose the election, much like they burned and looted during the George Floyd race riots, his remarks have been wildly overblown by the increasingly desperate Harris, her fellow Democrats, and their winged monkeys in the media.

It’s not like the use of military troops against violent anarchists is unprecedented. In 1992, then-President George H.W. Bush ordered 4,000 Army and Marine troops onto the streets of Los Angeles to restore order during the violent racial unrest that erupted after police beat up Rodney King, at the time the worst rioting in the city’s history.

“Donald Trump has stated that one of the biggest threats America faces is ‘the enemy from within.’ He has said that as president, he would use our military to go after those who don’t support him,” Harris recently claimed, grossly distorting what Trump meant. “Use the American military to go after American citizens? Let that sink in.”

It should be pointed out that the Harris-Biden regime has ruled in a dictatorial fashion ever since it was installed like a military junta in January 2021 when Washington, D.C. was filled with troops for their inauguration.

It’s a textbook example of projection, accusing their enemies of what they themselves are guilty of doing, and don’t believe for one second that the regime won’t unleash the military against Trump supporters after the election if they protest irregularities and potential cheating by the Democrats.
