Maxim Magazine, known predominantly for its lifestyle, fashion, and celebrity content tailored for men, has endorsed Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential election.

“Maxim endorses Donald J. Trump for President,” the account behind Sardar Biglari editor-in-chief posted to X.

The announcement was accompanied by an image of Trump sitting in a custom-built 1997 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster. Trump sold that vehicle earlier this year at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction for $1.1 million. 

News of the endorsement will smart the ‘Dudes for Harris’ circuit, once they read about it after spin class tomorrow. Or alternately, after they find out what Maxim Magazine is.

Maxim, by the way, is an international men’s magazine that features high-profile actors, singers, and models. Originally launched in the United Kingdom in 1995, it has since been based in New York City, serving a global audience with content that ranges from fashion and grooming to technology and fitness. 

Oh, and pictures of gorgeous women. You know, things actual dudes like to read about and look at.

As of recent data, Maxim boasts a circulation of about 9 million readers each month, with Maxim Digital reaching over 4 million unique viewers monthly.

Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) acknowledged the cultural significance of the endorsement, posting a plethora of clapping hands emojis. Maxim retweeted her post.

The Maxim Magazine endorsement of Trump is a bit of a surprise for an outlet that really hasn’t waded into political waters very often. And when they have in recent years, it was to capitalize on some anti-Trump sentiments. They ran a column in the days after the J6 protests highlighting Arnold Schwarzenegger’s insistence that Trump and his supporters were basically Nazis.

Maybe they came to their senses since then.

While Maxim hasn’t much commented on American politics, some of the women (I’m not a biologist, but I’m pretty sure) they’ve featured in their magazine have thrown their support behind the former President.

Maxim model Elizabeth Pipko strongly defended former First Lady Melania Trump from the media who consistently attacked her because of who her husband is.

“I think the fact that people want so badly to prove that…Donald Trump and Republicans in general are bad for women,” Pipko said in a previous interview.

“It’s terrible and it would never have been done in history. So the fact that they’re doing it to this First Lady just proves how their hate for Donald Trump is just…changing the way that they do their business.”

Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kristen Louelle Gaffney also made quite an impression at last season’s Maxim Super Bowl Party, arriving at the event with a sparkly clutch purse featuring the word “MAGA.”

“Trump embraces the American dream, he protects our children, and he puts our country first,” Louelle Gaffney told Fox News at the time.

“We should stop questioning the man who wants to Make America Great Again, and start questioning those who are challenging the concept of putting our country and our people first.”

Now, Maxim Magazine agrees. And Trump has this in his corner while Harris has Pete Buttigieg and David Hogg at her ‘Dudes for Harris’ and their little Lululemon rallies.

I’ll take the ladies of Maxim over Paternity Pete any day.
