The body language between the two also appeared off.
Obama stood with his arms crossed while attempting to turn away from Biden.
The conversation appears to be more of a realization of the major Democratic Party and the upcoming election.
The Daily Mail reported that it was the first public meeting between Obama and Biden since the latter abandoned his reelection campaign earlier this year.
The footage comes just days after Obama called on Black Americans to show the same level of support for Vice President Kamala Harris as they did for him.
“We have not yet seen the same kinds of energy and turnout in all corners of our neighborhoods and communities as we saw when I was running,” Obama said.
“That seems to be more pronounced with the brothers. So if you don’t mind—just for a second, I’ve got to speak to y’all.”
He then said former President Donald Trump has shown “disregard, not just for the communities, but for you as a person.”
Obama asked hesitant voters, “And you are thinking about sitting out?”
