With nineteen days until election day, Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) are getting desperate. Exhibit Q of this is taking a clip from Donald Trump’s appearance on Bussin’ with the Boys out of context, race-baiting it, and then dispatching the Washington Post to finish the job. Because when Democrats say “jump,” journalismers say, “Sure, we have no self-respect.” However, I don’t think WaPo was expecting hosts Will Compton and Taylor Lewan’s response.

First, let’s check in on the state of the race:

Bussin’ is a YUGEly popular podcast on the Barstool Sports network hosted by Compton and Lewan, two former NFL players. Side note: Compton played defense and has a notable lack of melanin in his skin. We’ll circle back to that point in a minute. The three boys covered many topics that matter to the American voter as we approach the latest, most important election of our lifetimes. And I’m sure we can all agree what was the most important thing Donald Trump said:

Kamala Harris’s campaign thought a different part of the interview was notable. Donald Trump talked about how he used to play tight end, not unlike Notre Dame legend Gerald Morgan Jr.. However, Trump didn’t stick with football because he didn’t want to compete against linebackers who do nothing but work out and come from bad neighborhoods. His tongue was firmly in his cheek when he said it. Hence, Lewan and Compton laughed at the funny thing that was said.

It is not uncommon for someone to jokingly say that they want their defense to be angry and mean. Their job is to destroy whoever has the ball at the time. Just ask Coach Prime, who has said the same and in the same jovial context. Kamala HQ implied something different.

I know that you know that I know that you know what the Harris Campaign is implying. Bad neighborhood = Black. They’re Democrats. It’s an election. What else are they going to say? But to those of you who might not absorb political content as much as we do here at the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website, there is a specific reason for why Kamala HQ is desperate to go down this road…

Here comes the Washington Post, not unlike how they did in 2020 when they had a hissy fit about Dave Portnoy giving Donald Trump a softball interview (while ignoring CNN and others giving Andrew Cuomo a softball interview that same day). Why ever did the two hosts LAUGH at this comment that the Harris campaign is bitterly taking out of context? Compton, who again, played defense in the NFL and knew what Trump was getting at, thought Trump’s answer was an admission he wasn’t built for football.

Lewan had a different, much more poignant response—at least, I think it was Lewan. You don’t see the person’s face.

We give The Boys 9/10 for the response. It would have been 10/10 if they had delivered it from the Will Compton Museum.

Nineteen more days, folks. Plus, however many weeks after that it takes them to count votes.
