Joy Behar had an interesting moment on “The View” when unburdened by facts or evidence, she ascribed horrible intentions to former President Donald Trump.

While “The View” isn’t exactly anyone’s first stop for unbiased news and facts, Behar’s Wednesday remarks were beyond the pale. She claimed that Trump would utilize the military to “attack liberals” if he were to win in November.

“Let’s talk about fascism for a second, cuz that came up also,” she said. “Here’s the definition, it’s defined as ‘a political movement that embraces the far-right nationalism and the forceful suppression of any opposition, all overseen by an authoritarian government.’ That definition has Trump’s picture next to it in the dictionary. I mean he wants to send the military to attack liberals if he gets in.”

She then decided to effectively compliment Italian dictator Benito Mussolini in order to bash the former president.

“The king of fascism is Mussolini, who spoke better English than he [Trump] does, by the way, and so I think to say that he’s a fascist is completely accurate. It does fit the definition, he wants to send the military in to attack his opponents. I mean what more do you need to hear?” Behar asked.

In a separate moment, she accused the media of being on Trump’s side and trying to manipulate Democrat voter turnout by reporting negative news about Vice President Kamala Harris.
