Former President Jimmy Carter, who turned 100 on October 1, voted for Vice President Kamala Harris for president in Georgia on Wednesday.

Carter had said voting for Harris was more important to him than his 100th birthday milestone, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Carter’s ballot was placed in a drop box located at the Sumter County Courthouse close to his hometown of Plains, Ga.
