Former President Donald Trump teased a long-anticipated sit down with Joe Rogan, saying in an interview with Full Send’s Kyle Forgeard that he will appear on The Joe Rogan Experience prior to the election.
Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, who has an eerie habit of stealing from Trump, is contemplating an interview with Rogan as well — Harris is doing poorly with male voters and Rogan is a direct conduit to the demographic.
While nothing is confirmed as of yet, Reuters cited three sources to report that Team Kamalot is in talks with Rogan to schedule an interview.
The development is interesting, given Rogan’s recent remarks about Kamala Harris. It may also signal how desperate her campaign is if recent polling is accurate.
“It all bothers me, the fragility of the human mind,” Rogan said. “You know that we’re — so everybody forever was like, Kamala Harris is the worst vice president. She’s the least popular vice president of all time. And then, in a moment, a moment in time, all of a sudden she’s our solution. She’s our hero. Everybody’s with her, all these social media posts about her. Try googling a negative story on her. You won’t find one.”
REPORT: Kamala Harris is considering sitting down with Joe Rogan for an interview according to multiple sources who spoke with Reuters.

Harris traveled to New York last week to appear on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show, but given Stern’s fading relevance that appearance may have done more to shore up support from lesbian voters than it did male voters.
That appearance was part of a media blitz Kamala Harris has embarked on as her polling begins to show cracks, but that tour has involved sitting down with friendly forces. Rogan would likely not fall into that category and it’s not clear how well the vice president would do with the depth and spontaneity that defines Rogan’s podcast. Remove Harris from a script and she often seems vacant in mind.
Another indication of desperation was seen on Monday when it was announced that Harris will have her first-ever sit-down interview with Fox News Channel, agreeing to an interview with host Bret Baier on Wednesday in Philadelphia.
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on the social media platform X:
Going on Joe Rogan would be excruciating for Kamala Harris.
Trump thrives in long form conversations, Kamala panics.

If Kamala does go on Rogan it will end her campaign.
You think there’s any chance she can talk unscripted for 2 hours?
No way

What will she do considering Rogan won’t let her camp manipulate clips?

Her internal polling is bad, real bad.

I would imagine she’d be desperate for any platform she can get.
She doesn’t have much to lose at this point.

Rogan will be fair, especially if he is interviewing both candidates.
But oftentimes, “fair” is a bad thing for Kamala because that means she will be asked questions that weren’t prepared by her team.

This could end her campaign.

If Kamala Harris is considering going on Rogan, Trump could be looking at the largest election landslide of my lifetime.
