Yes, it’s another headline about someone’s pet cat getting eaten.

No, it doesn’t involve any Haitians, though one has to wonder if this crime wasn’t inspired by all the media coverage of the Haitians in Springfield, Ohio.

Meet Eldon Blake Lewis of Kimball, Nebraska. According to an arrest warrant, police found evidence that the man “butchered and ate a pet cat.”

What evidence did they find?

No, never mind, I don’t want to know.

Lewis was arrested on charges of animal cruelty and violation of a protection order.

‘The Kimball Police Department remains committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all animals and urges the public to report any suspected cases of animal abuse,’ police said in a statement.

If only that attitude were applied to Springfield, Ohio!
