A company that operates several apartment complexes in Aurora, Colorado has confirmed that Venezuelan gang members are indeed active on their properties.

The company, CBZ Management, offered the confirmation in a Twitter thread posted last week in response to the “false information” being spread by the corporate propaganda press.

According to CBZ Management, the company took over the apartment complexes in 2019 with the goal of renovating each apartment.

“Everything was progressing smoothly: property values were rising, and vacancy rates were dropping. It was a win-win for both the owners and the city of Aurora,” the company explained in one post.

But then “the gangs arrived.”

Their arrival coincided with an uptick “in crime and tenant complaints,” with the most alarming incident occurring in late 2023 when a CBZ representative was attacked.

“He had gone to inspect a recently vacated three-bedroom apartment (a rare occurrence for such a large unit) only to find a group of men already inside,” CBZ explained in a post.  “When he refused their $500 bribe to overlook the situation, they brutally attacked him.”

A picture of the victim and surveillance footage of the assault are included in the tweet below:

Things only got worse after the attack.

“After the attack on our CBZ representative, he began getting threatening text messages,” CBZ explained. “We also frequently found people illegally occupying newly vacated apartments during scheduled tours.”

“This was initially attributed to an influx of migrants exploiting squatter laws. We even received a call from a tenant returning from vacation, only to find strangers living in his apartment. This legitimate tenant was forced to find a new home after police couldn’t help him.”

CBZ soon discovered that these illegal tenants and squatters were paying rent to some entity — presumably some gang.

Out of options, CBZ began contacting city officials begging for help, but none of them seemed to give a damn.

The dam finally began to somewhat break when three major law enforcement agencies — the Aurora Police Department, FBI, and Homeland Security — confirmed to CBZ that the notorious Tren de Aragua gang from Venezuela was active on their properties.

“They also mentioned that our situation was just ‘a blip on the radar,’ as this gang is causing significant problems nationwide,” according to CBZ.

But sadly, the situation on the ground only got worse from there.

“Two days after our FBI meeting, the gang confronted our on-site manager, asserting control over all three properties,” CBZ explained in its Twitter/X posts. “They offered an ultimatum: share rental income 50/50 or lose the buildings permanently. They also threatened to harm him and his family.”

For their own safety, CBZ then withdrew from the properties and began seeking help from the government — “perhaps even the National Guard.” But sadly, help never arrived.

“We were left helpless, watching as violence, bullets, and destruction overtook our buildings,” they explained in their thread. “Many of our legitimate tenants fled out of fear.”

Worse, several city officials — presumably Democrats — tried to victim-blame by accusing CBZ of certain “code violations.”

Finally, one city councilwoman, Dani Jurinsky, chose to intervene after one of CBZ’s longtime tenants desperately reached out to her for help.

She not only helped the resident find housing elsewhere but also compiled “sufficient video evidence” of the gang’s presence.

CBZ concluded its post by scolding the media for continuing to lie about the crisis in Aurora.

“Despite clear evidence, many still deny the reality of the situation, sometimes using us as scapegoats,” they wrote. “That’s why we are no longer staying silent. We will continue to counter falsehoods with simple facts and evidence.”

“Yes, gangs did take control of our apartment complexes in Aurora, Colorado, and the government did nothing. That is the real story,” they added.

CBZ’s post comes amid an effort by the entire corporate propaganda press to downplay what’s happening in Aurora.
