Internal polling must be pretty scary for the Kamala Harris for President mind trust, given the signs of desperation we are beginning to see from the campaign.
One such sign is a strange tactic from the Democratic nominee, which is to suggest that former President Donald Trump, is not only “weak,” which no one has ever suggested, but that he is trying to “hide” from voters. The irony here is off the charts, given that Harris spent weeks dodging any serious interaction with the press.
Keep in mind that Trump has been sitting down with whoever will talk to him, including Gen Z podcasters. In fact, he’s sometimes criticized by supporters for agreeing to interviews with media sources known to be hostile toward him — a rare exception here was when he wisely opted not to sit down with 60 Minutes after the 2020 debacle with Leslie Stahl.
With an odd habit of repeating herself, Harris referenced the 60 Minutes rejection and Trump refusing a second debate while campaigning in North Carolina.
“And here’s the thing, here’s the thing — it makes you wonder, it makes you wonder, why does his staff want him to hide away? One must question, one must question, are they afraid that people will see that he is too weak and unstable to lead America?”
Harris debuts the laughable line that Trump is hiding and not campaigning.
Harris couldn’t keep up with his schedule on her best day, and she and Tim Walz have been the ones hiding.

On a side note, Harris may be the only person in America who believes Trump’s staff can control what he does.
After releasing a medical report on herself this past week describing her as a “healthy 59-year-old female,” Harris took a shot at Trump for not releasing a comprehensive report on his health.
Trump Communications Director Steven Cheung countered in a statement over the weekend by saying the former president “voluntarily released updates from his personal physician, as well as detailed reports from Dr. Ronny Jackson who treated him after the first assassination attempt.”
“All have concluded he is in perfect and excellent health to be Commander in Chief,” Cheung said. “He has maintained an extremely busy and active campaign schedule unlike any other in political history, whereas Kamala Harris has been unable to keep up with the demands of campaigning and reveals on a daily basis she is wholly unqualified to be President of the United States.”
“Her schedule is much lighter because, it is said, she does not have the stamina of President Trump. Polls are reflective of this,” he added.
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on the social media platform X:
Is her campaign collapsing?
Can’t even find someone to fix her teleprompter script?

@KamalaHarris wants so bad to be Barack. Wagging finger, chin grab, the staring pause. Pathetic.

I can’t understand how no one on her staff takes her aside and explains you can’t make statements that are obviously false. They do it over and over. I’m voting for Trump for the 3rd time, let her keep talking.

Is this an actual SNL skit?

Trump just had over 100,000 people at his rally…Harris sounds like a total idiot, really she does.
