Many Democrats were jubilant when their nominee Kamala Harris scored the endorsement of former Vice President Dick Cheney, one of the true villains of the 21st century, and Cenk Uygur made it plain for the clueless leftists.

The volatile founder of “The Young Turks” who’s a diehard progressive has found himself in frequent disagreement with the modern version of the Democratic Party, now the official home of the warmongering neocons, Cheney and his malicious actor daughter Liz made that official with their backing of Harris.

“Why does the Harris team keep bragging about Dick Cheney’s support when he left office with 13% approval rating? If there’s one thing the country agrees on, it’s how much we hate Dick Cheney. It’s because DC is 75% neocon, so they think everyone loves neocons, when no one does,” Uygur wrote on X, pointing out that “Darth Vader” is thoroughly toxic outside the Beltway, even to Democrats.

“I also want to thank your father, vice president Dick Cheney, for his support, and what he has done to serve our country,” Harris said during a recent rally in Wisconsin, gushing about a man who was once despised by her party, and for good reason.

“It’s amazing to see Democrats mystified as to why they’re losing to Donald Trump again. They just can’t figure it out. They’re so biased they can’t see straight. Not all, but most of his supporters hate the establishment and back him just because the establishment is against him,” he wrote in an earlier X post.

“But if you tell this important piece of information, which could help you win elections, to a Democratic leader, they’re offended. Wait, why would you be offended? Oh right, because you proudly associate yourself with the establishment. That’s your answer as to why you’re losing,” he added.

Uygur’s observations drew a lively response from X users.

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald shared some perspective about Harris bagging the endorsements of the Cheneys.

“I’m kind of shocked that the big Dick and Liz Cheney endorsements didn’t give Kamala any noticeable poll bounce, given how beloved the Cheney family has long been among the American people,” he said in a Friday post to X. “Like when Dick left office with 24% approval and Liz lost her primary race by 36 points.”
