Doug Emhoff’s alleged slap marked the tip of the iceberg as a new report delved into a supposed pattern of “misogynist” and “inappropriate” behavior in the workplace.

While Vice President Kamala Harris was having plenty of problems on her own selling vibes to voters on the campaign trail, claims about her husband’s history weren’t doing her any favors. After reports of impregnating his children’s nanny while cheating on his first wife and a story about slapping an ex-girlfriend so hard “she spun around,” former colleagues from his law office had their own tales to tell about his “a**hole” antics.

Following up on his investigation of the second gentleman, the Daily Mail’s Josh Boswell reported that, “Attorneys who worked with Doug Emhoff at his former firm Venable say he yelled expletives, held a men-only cocktail hour in the office, revoked work perks from women who didn’t flirt with him, and took only young, attractive associates in a limousine to a ball.”

According to one former senior staffer, an alleged incident found the then-entertainment attorney exploding at a female partner, “She had to ask him something. His office door was closed. She said to his secretary, ‘Is he on the phone?’ She said no. She tapped on the door, he didn’t answer, so she slightly opened the door and stuck her head in.”

“He said ‘Get the f*** out of my office,’” claimed the staffer. “What’s worse was he bragged about it to the management at Venable and they were aghast. He’s an a**hole. He told them how he ‘put her in her place.’ A misogynist, that’s who does that.”

Another claim from a female former staffer accused Emhoff of being “very flirty” and that “if you weren’t flirty back or didn’t respond positively then you were on his s**t list.”

As had been previously reported, Boswell had detailed allegations from friends of a woman, referred to under the pseudonym Jane, who had dated the future second gentleman in 2012 only to break off the relationship when the attorney was said to have slapped her for appearing to flirt with a valet.

“The process that I went through was extremely thorough and careful about this because you’re right, we’re on the eve of an election, but the thing that made these sources come forward is not because there’s an election, but because the Kamala Harris campaign was using Doug Emhoff, showing him as this feminist ally, baking up his credentials as an ally to women and that just enraged them,” Boswell told Fox News’ Jesse Watters of the sources who’d come forward.

The latest report went on to detail how Emhoff’s Los Angeles office that he ran had been embroiled in a sexual discrimination lawsuit in 2019 that alleged he hired an “unqualified” part-time model to be a legal secretary “because she was young, attractive, and friendly with the powerful men in the office.”

Within the suit which was said to have been settled in Nov. 2021 and dismissed, it was alleged that one of the partners had asserted “every partner should have a ‘Katya,’” referring to Emhoff’s “unqualified” secretary.

According to her own LinkedIn page, Katya Calderone, who followed Emhoff from Venable to DLA Piper, had received a paralegal certificate from UCLA in 2010, prior to coming to work for the attorney.

His hiring of Calderone was not the only alleged favorable treatment to attractive female employees as a woman who worked as a junior attorney at Venable said, “If there was an event, like the Justice Ball, he would favor certain people. Usually, it was young, pretty girls. And he would prefer for them to ride with him. He would get a limo.”

“I just don’t think his behavior was appropriate for the position he was in,” she added as another woman from the office said when the men-only cocktail parties were brought to Venable’s attention around 2010 “that stopped.”

Meanwhile, Harris appeared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast where she said of abuse, “Part of the issue is that people don’t talk about it.”

“And I don’t mean the survivors, I mean nobody does, and the more that we let anything exist in the shadows, the more likely it is that people are suffering and suffering silently, and we need to talk about it,” the vice president went on.
