Vice President Kamala Harris appeared on “60 Minutes” on Monday and members of the chattering class are still talking about her godawful performance in what should have been a slam-dunk interview.

Former President Donald Trump blasted the vice president in a post on Truth Social on Tuesday, delivering a blistering critique of the Biden-Harris administration’s handling of the Hurricane Helene crisis.

As usual, the former president did not mince words, saying she “literally had no idea what she was talking about” and calling her “an embarrassment to our Country.”

The Interview on 60 Minutes with Comrade Kamala Harris is considered by many of those who reviewed it, the WORST Interview they have ever seen. She literally had no idea what she was talking about, and it was an embarrassment to our Country that a Major Party Candidate would be so completely inept. In addition, her Incompetence on “helping” people through the devastation of Hurricane Helene is being reviewed as, by far, the Worst in American History, even worse than Katrina – If that is possible! I can’t imagine anybody living in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, or Tennessee, voting for her. Pollsters are saying that the anti, or negative, Vote in those places, and even places not affected but with people watching what took place, will be heavily against her. This is good news because November 5th is the Most Important Day in the History of our Country, and we cannot bear four more years of Incompetence. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

Harris’ interview was widely panned by many in the digital realm for her failure to deliver coherent answers on critical issues. As RedState’s Bonchie noted, when she was asked how she would pay for her economic agenda, she deflected by repeating a hackneyed talking point about small business.

“Her first answer on small businesses is typical of Kamala Harris,” he wrote, adding, “She’s asked about how she’ll pay for all her new proposals and she instead launches into a screed about small business and dreams and aspirations and such.”

The Biden-Harris administration’s handling of the hurricane has also been an issue. While the White House has authorized federal disaster relief, the process has been fraught with delays and confusion, especially related to FEMA’s capacity to provide aid.

President Joe Biden, when questioned about the storm, responded in his predictable clueless fashion. “I’m wondering what storm you’re talking about. They’re getting everything they need. They’re very happy across the board,” he said.

Given that the storm has already claimed 200 lives and displaced thousands of Americans, the fact that the administration appears ill-equipped to deal with the matter could have ramifications for the upcoming presidential election.

Trump is wisely using these missteps to rally his base and garner support from undecided voters. He is positioning himself as an alternative to the weak and incompetent Biden-Harris administration.
