In a new phase of the marketing of Kamala Harris, the Democrat nominee is finally doing interviews with a slate of appearances with friendly outlets on tap, one of them with a podcast known for its raunchy sexual content.

With the election now only a month away, the veep and her handlers have belatedly realized that the refusal to explain her positions to the American people is becoming a liability but the decision to sit down with host “Call Her Daddy” host Alex Cooper could prove to be a major strategic blunder.

In one clip of the discussion which drew ridicule on social media, the host asks Harris to explain why she chose “Call Her Daddy” as opposed to more traditional media outlets with a wider audience.

“I’m curious. Like, you don’t do too many long-form interviews. What made you do ‘Call Her Daddy’ today?” Cooper asked her very special guest.

Harris didn’t really answer the question, instead serving up a generous helping of one of the nonsensical word salads that she specializes in.

“Well, I think you are your listeners have really got this thing right,” Harris began. “Which is one of the best ways to communicate with people is to be real, you know, and to talk about the things that people really care about.”

“What I love about what you do is that your voice and show is really about your listeners,” she continued. “And I think especially now, this is a moment in the country’s history and in life where people really want another scene and heard and that they’re part of a community. That they’re not out there alone, and so um, I’m really glad to be with you.”

A typical Kamala non-answer answer.

Fans of the show may greatly enjoy the graphic sex talk that’s a fixture of “Call Her Daddy” but slammed Cooper after she posted a brief teaser of her sit-down with the substance-free airhead who could potentially be installed as the next President of the United States.

“One of my most favorite podcasts and now I’ll never listen again. unbelievable,” said one user.

Other members of the ‘Daddy Gang” were also displeased.

“I’m so disappointed, this feels like propaganda and trying to make her look ‘gen z’,’ wrote another. “You’re gonna look back on this one day and regret it when we are in a war because of her. SMH, truly smh. You just lost a lot of respect.”

“oh nooo why did we have to get THIS political. listening to your podcasts was a nice escape from everything we hear about politics daily,” another user said, obviously not pleased about the host’s deviation into politics instead of the usual juicy stuff.

“Wow shame on you! You sold your soul on this one while people need help you had this lady on a pod cast,” a disappointed fan wrote.

Another kept it short and sweet, “Unsubscribed and unfollowed.”

Despite the podcast’s regular focus on relationships and Harris’ presenting herself as the defender of women, the topic of hubby Doug Emhoff’s alleged drunken slapping around of an ex-girlfriend never came up.
