Karine Jean-Pierre’s insistence that claims about FEMA spending on illegal aliens were “categorically false” found her faced with an unlikely fact checker — herself.

The avalanche of mismanagement from the Biden-Harris administration had once again found American citizens playing second fiddle to foreign nationals. However, just as additional foreign aid was authorized to Lebanon while disaster victims were left out in the cold, the White House press secretary futilely attempted to refute the facts.

During Friday’s White House press briefing, she was asked, “Former President Trump is accusing the Biden administration of using FEMA funding to support undocumented migrants. How is the White House responding to that?”

“I mean, it’s just categorically false. It is not true. It is a false statement,” Jean-Pierre insisted as she cited a “fact check” piece from The Washington Post’s Glenn Kessler with the headline, “No, Biden didn’t take FEMA relief money to use on migrants — but Trump did.”

Her desire to “leave it there” wasn’t enough to prevent her own remarks on Sept. 16, 2022 from resurfacing where she had said in regards to illegals being sent to Martha’s Vineyard and beyond, “FEMA Regional Administrators have been meeting with city officials on site to coordinate — to coordinate available federal support from FEMA and other federal agencies.”

“Funding is also available through FEMA’s Emergency Food and Shelter program to eligible local governments and not-for-profit organizations upon request to support humanitarian relief for migrants,” she added.

RedState’s Bonchie shared the juxtaposed clips of Jean-Pierre from the briefings two years removed and said, “She just straight up lied yesterday. Could someone get Glenn Kessler on the phone?”

In addition to the press secretary’s own words, as had been covered, a report from The Federalist noted “The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) allocated nearly $364 million in the fiscal year 2023 and $650 million for the 2024 fiscal year to the ‘Shelter and Service Program’ ‘to provide humanitarian services to noncitizen migrants following their release from the Department of Homeland Security.’”

The self-own by Jean-Pierre also marked another victory for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) in putting America first versus “border czar” Harris’ empty suit campaigning that left average citizens in the lurch.

As had been reported, within hours of the Sunshine State order announcing the deployment of the Florida National Guard and Florida State Guard to maintain operations of critical ports in lieu of the longshoremen strike, the International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) announced a halt on their labor dispute until Jan. 15, 2025.

Similarly, the governor had blown through bureaucracy to see to the needs of Americans as he launched Operation Blue Ridge, dispatching resources for search and rescue, relief and restoration efforts in areas impacted by Hurricane Helene in nearby states.

Such was the case when DeSantis had joined Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) in sending illegal aliens to so-called sanctuary states to force a response to the issue plaguing communities across the country.

Meanwhile, with a schedule suddenly packed with interviews, Harris took a moment to announce American taxpayer dollars would be going to Hezbollah-harboring Lebanon in the sum of $157 million, $57 million more than what was committed to rebuilding I-40.

“The people of Lebanon are facing an increasingly dire humanitarian situation. I am concerned about the security and well-being of civilians suffering in Lebanon and will continue working to help meet the needs of all civilians there,” read a post from Harris on X. “To that end, the United States will provide nearly $157 million in additional assistance to the people of Lebanon for essential needs such as food, shelter, water, protection, and sanitation to help those who have been displaced by the recent conflict. This additional support brings total U.S. assistance to Lebanon over the last year to over $385 million.”

The “outright lies” and misplaced loyalties received ample condemnation on social media as well as urging for Congress, now on recess through the election, to put an end to the government abuses.
