With just over a month to go until Election Day, some Democrats are expressing concern over Team Kamala’s strategy to keep her under wraps except in friendly, controlled settings.

In a sign that there could be trouble in “Kamalot” the left-leaning outlet Politico dropped a Saturday report quoting over two dozen Democrats, some of whom are spooked over the campaign’s aversion to exposing the candidate to risky situations by ducking “unscripted” appearances.

“There’s a time at which you just have to barnstorm these battlegrounds,” said Obama whisperer David Axelrod, expressing dismay over her Harris’ avoidance of the sort of good old-fashioned retail politicking that a non-senile Joe Biden used to specialize in.

“These races are decathlons, and there are a lot of events, and you have to do all of them because people want to test you,” added “Axe” who was instrumental in the internal coup that ousted the geriatric Biden and replaced him with his veep.

“It’s the most difficult oral exam on the planet for the most difficult job, and part of that is just that spontaneous — town halls, all kinds of interviews, and not just friendly interviews. OTRs where you interact in a substantive way with people, all of those things are valuable,” Axelrod added. “And I would be doing them if I were her.”

“We’re in the game, and we’re competitive because Joe Biden stepped down and Kamala Harris filled the void. And she met the moment,” said a democrat operative who was granted anonymity by the outlet due to the sensitivity of the topic.

“This is still the Biden campaign infrastructure. That was anemic,” they said. “Making a decision takes forever.”

“We know this isn’t actually 2016 again, and it’s not like she’s not going to Wisconsin,” an unnamed former Biden staffer said. “But we can still learn from that. Trump is everywhere again, just like he was then. Our side needs to be, too.”

Trump is “everywhere” while Harris isn’t venturing out of her safe spaces of rallies in front of friendly crowds and podcasts like “All The Smoke” with two ex-NBA stars and the raunchy “Call Her Daddy” which she did at a time when she should have been doing her day job as vice president in rendering disaster assistance to Hurricane Helene victims in storm-ravaged North Carolina.

While Kamala lays low and avoids exposing herself as a fraud, Trump is continuing with a heavy schedule all the way up to the election.

“We’re going to be on the road almost every single day between now and Nov. 5,” a Trump campaign representative told the New York Post.

The Republican nominee will focus on the key battleground states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina.Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, The former president is also expected to appear at events in Florida, New York and New Jersey, states where he owns property, according to the Post.

“Our task for the final stretch of this campaign is ensuring that winning vision reaches the undecided voters who will decide this election in places and ways that will actually reach them,” said Harris campaign spox Kevin Munoz.

“That may look different in today’s evolving media environment than prior campaigns, but coupled with campaign events, aggressive organizing, and a historic paid media campaign, it’s a winning approach,” he said.
