Sunny Hostin’s take on Melania Trump’s recent abortion statement had Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld ripping the daytime talking head who he said “projected her own misery.”

Whether a part of the campaign for former President Donald Trump or simply motivated to express her own opinions, the former first lady came out swinging as unequivocally pro-choice while pitching her upcoming memoir “Melania.”

The controversial stance that found the Catholic former supermodel aligned with President Joe Biden rather than her faith found Gutfeld roasting “The View” co-host Hostin who couldn’t help but add unfounded conclusions to the position.

“‘The View’ can’t wait to tell us that Trump’s marriage makes them jealous,” asserted the host of “Gutfeld!” Friday night. “Yeah, they may be overweight and brain dead, but they claim to know what’s in Melania’s head.”

“This week the plus-sized clown show known as ‘The View’ discussed the news of Melania Trump coming out in favor of abortion rights just weeks before the election which led to this moment where Sunny projected her own misery on Melania,” he went on ahead of the clip.

As had been reported, even her co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar found fault with Hostin’s analysis when she had responded to Trump’s announcement that, “Restricting a woman’s right to choose whether to terminate an unwanted pregnancy is the same as denying her control over her own body.”

“I think she hates him, okay. So we can all agree on that. That’s a given. I also think that she wants to take him out,” asserted the former trial attorney Thursday on ABC. “She does not want to be the first lady anymore. She doesn’t want to be the first lady. She destroyed the Rose Garden. Who hates Christmas? Melania Trump hates Christmas. She doesn’t want to decorate for Christmas. She doesn’t want to sleep in the same room with him. She can’t tolerate him.”

While voicing her take, Goldberg interjected, “Allegedly,” as Behar added, “You don’t know all this!”

However, Gutfeld found himself disagreeing with the co-hosts on “The View” as he went on to add, “How does she know all this? It’s because she’s talking about herself.”

“When anybody tries to read your mind, they can’t so they have no choice but to pull the things out of their own head and replace it. I find it interesting that they’re mocking Melania for disagreeing with her husband. Would they have applauded Melania if they…thought exactly the same way?”

Hostin had gone on to allege, “But this is how they’re simpatico…she needs the money because he’s broke. So, she wants to make the money, now her memoir’s all buzzy, now we’re all taking about it…You know, I think that she wants to take him out and she’s doing a pretty damn good job of it.”

For his part, the former president had commented on a select number of laws around the country while maintaining a position aligned with the Supreme Court ruling on Roe v. Wade that he helped bring about that returned the right to legislate on abortion back to the individual states per the Tenth Amendment.
