Vice President Kamala Harris’ past remarks on domestic violence have resurfaced amid reports her husband used to be an abuser.

Filed by the Daily Mail, the original report contained allegations from three unnamed friends of a woman who was once aggressively slapped by current second gentleman Doug Emhoff, 59. Emhoff allegedly slapped the woman, his then-girlfriend, for flirting with a valet at a gala in 2012.

Ever since the story emerged Wednesday, both the corporate propaganda press and Harris’ presidential campaign have been completely silent about the matter as if the report doesn’t even exist.

However, the report does exist, and the fact that Harris refuses to address it head-on strongly points to her being a hypocrite.

Why? Well, take for instance what she tweeted in mid-2017:

When the #MeToo movement erupted shortly thereafter, Harris posted an additional tweet proclaiming she stands with women who’ve been abused.

And then when Christine Blasey Ford flimsily accused then-Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual abuse, Harris rushed to accept her flawed story despite it containing numerous glaring holes.

In addition, the then-senator posted a tweet in support of survivors.

Responding to these tweets now years later, critics were eager to know why Harris and other Democrats aren’t holding her husband to the same standard they held Kavanaugh to years earlier.

“It’s being reported that your husband b-tch slapped his girlfriend plus he impregnated his nanny,” one critic, a woman, tweeted. “Maybe you should start at home with the abuse lecture.”

“It’s hilarious how leftists whine non-stop about toxic masculinity. Then turn around and support a domestic abuser. Absolutely zero standards,” another critic added.

Criticism is also being directed at the corporate press for completely burying or outright ignoring the accusations against Emhoff.

“Any enterprising media would want to know the answer if this were somebody with a last name Trump or Vance,” conservative commentator Megyn Kelly noted Wednesday. “If this were a Republican, it would be leading every news channel. Reporters would go figure out what they had on their hands. No one has seemingly looked into this other than The Daily Mail.”

“Now, the vetting begins by The Daily Mail, and God bless them for actually looking into these stories that other people think are too beneath them to check out. Although, these other ‘respectable’ news outlets wasted no time reporting on Stormy Daniels and whether she said Donald Trump wore a condom. That is apparently not beneath them,” she added.

Maureen Callahan, a writer for the Daily Mail, meanwhile penned a column noting that between Emhoff and former President Donald Trump, only one of them has had his past scrutinized by the press.

“This is the man meant to stand in stark contrast to Trump, who certainly has his own issues with women,” she wrote. “But only one of these men has been forensically investigated by the national media.”

“Only one of these men represents a ticket that, as his wife so often says, believes in the importance of ‘good values’, of being ‘honest’, of ‘not going back’ to a time when the plight of women was routinely ignored,” she added.

The problem, of course, is that the supposed guy — Emhoff — who believes in these ideals clearly doesn’t practice what he preaches.
