You need a community emergency plan. The government is not going to help you.

In the same day, I have seen Walmart run out of food while numerous reports drop of federal authorities causing problems with relief efforts or being absent entirely.

This Walmart is not the only store having supply issues:

There are videos demonstrating that the government is working to bring aid to hurricane-damaged areas, but the question is whether their relief efforts are enough.
