Okay, there’s a lot to unpack here.

A man identifying as a Muslim woman is on trial for threatening to kill public safety officials in Jasper, Mississippi. And now, 64-year-old “Tanya Morgan” is demanding that the court allow him to be euthanized.

I’m not joking.

Here’s how it all started:

This summer, this bizarre story began when Morgan was denied membership at the Rose Hill Volunteer Fire Department. He claimed he was rejected because of his alleged Muslim faith.

This really pissed him off.

So, Morgan attended a June 4 meeting at the Jasper County Emergency Management office, where he confronted firefighters. After being asked to leave, Morgan made several frivolous 911 calls, eventually threatening to shoot up various county and city buildings.

He was subsequently arrested and taken to the Jasper County Jail.

Now, this is where it gets really crazy.

During his brief detention, Morgan claims he was ‘harassed … while I was naked and trying to take a shower’ and was ‘dragged’ and ‘locked up naked without my clothing or hijab.’ He also claimed he was inappropriately photographed by a deputy who ‘appeared to have an erection.’

Sheriff Randy Johnson has denied those allegations, stating that video evidence proves Morgan is lying.

Since then, Morgan has kept up his wild behavior in court, even getting into spats with the first two attorneys who took his case. He’s shown up at Covington County Circuit Court at least twice and has filed a half-dozen or more motions.

Despite obvious proof otherwise, Morgan has stuck to his claim under oath that he’s biologically female.

At his August arraignment, when asked for his legal name, he tried to pull a fast one, claiming he had a medical condition that suddenly made him unable to speak.

How convenient.

After being questioned again by Judge Matthew Sullivan as to the name on his birth certificate, Morgan replied: ‘The name on my birth certificate is Matilda Jean Duffy.’

After reviewing some documents, the judge quickly learned that this dude’s previous name was “Matthew Duffy.”

Still, he’s maintained that he is, in fact, biologically female, and any claims to suggest otherwise are completely false.

Naturally, his next step was to request the court to allow him to be euthanized.

My faith allows me to engage in euthanasia when abused. I request you allow me to seek medical intervention in either Australia, Canada, Colombia or Italy.

Get this: After the arraignment, a reporter tried to catch up with Morgan outside the courtroom, but things went off the rails fast. Morgan bolted to the Sheriff’s office, claiming the reporter had physically assaulted him.
