According to a New York Post report, Israel has announced “powerful airstrikes” in response to Iran launching hundreds of ballistic missiles at the Jewish state Tuesday evening.

Israel plans to launch “powerful airstrikes throughout the Middle East” beginning Tuesday night in retaliation for an Iranian missile barrage launched on the Jewish state Tuesday, according to reports.

The warning comes after nearly 200 ballistic missiles were fired Israel, with shrapnel and warheads raining down on Tel Aviv and other Israeli population centers.

Iran opened direct hostilities against Israel after the IDF began a ground invasion against the terrorist group Hezbollah in Lebanon on Monday.

Iran released a statement warning Israel of retaliation: “If the Zionist regime responds to our attack, our next attacks will be more devastating.”
