Iran has launched an estimated 100 ballistic missiles towards Israel and Israeli officials say that a second wave of missiles is now underway.

The missiles cover over the entirety of the Jewish State.

This attack comes hours after the White House announced that it had “indications that Iran is preparing to imminently launch a ballistic missile attack against Israel.”

Iran first used ballistic missiles against Israel last April. These types of missiles are more difficult to defend against as they can reach Israel from Iran in just 12 minutes.

The White House warned that an attack against the Jewish State will have “severe consequences.”

“We are actively supporting defensive preparations to defend Israel against this attack. A direct military attack from Iran against Israel will carry severe consequences for Iran,” a senior White House official said prior to the attack.
