Zachary Levi is known to many as DC superhero Shazam. Real ones know him as Chuck from Chuck, one of the most underrated shows of the past two decades. It featured a young, not quite as based Adam Baldwin. A hot blonde number, too, whose name I don’t remember. But this isn’t a nostalgia post. This is to admire Levi’s testicular fortitude in being a Hollywood actor who endorsed, out loud, Donald Trump for president.

“We’re here to make sure that we are going to take back this country. We are going to make it great again. We are going to make it healthy again,” Levi said at a pro-Trump rally in Michigan featuring Robert F Kenndy Jr and Tulsi Gabbard. “I stand with everyone else who is standing with President Trump. Because I do believe, of the two choices that we have, and we only have two, Donald Trump, President Trump is the man that can get us there.”

I grew up in a family that was Christian conservative, that was pretty much the lane that we were in. My parents were Kennedy Democrats who then turned into Reagan Republicans, and they taught me to have a healthy level of distrust for the government and a healthy level of distrust for industry that runs amok.

Here’s where the Left claims that no one cares what Zachary Levi thinks, while they demand everyone with a platform endorse their every political agenda and cyberbully the wives of quarterbacks who don’t. It’s not like Levi hasn’t hinted toward his political leanings, questioning the Left’s favorite Big Pharma company and that maaaaaaaybe we’re giving Ukraine too much of a blank check. But he’s also someone that Hollywood is in the middle of building a major franchise around. To not only endorse a Republican but endorse DONALD TRUMP takes some stones.

What I find most interesting about his endorsement is the Kennedy and Tulsi connection. Both endorsing Trump wasn’t important because they brought huge voting blocks with them. It was because they brought disaffected Democrats with them, whether they were disaffected by the unmitigated disaster of the Harris-Bden regime or how batsh*t crazy the progressive left that controls the Democratic Party has become.

Kennedy and Tulsi were an excuse for people, particularly famous people, to speak out without risking their careers by saying nice things about Donald Trump. Zachary Levi is the first to follow in their footsteps and do so out loud at a rally to encourage people to vote for Trump.

Will others start to do the same? Stay tuned.
